Seeking safety from the bombs in the remote coastal location, the group instead find themselves facing an evil far more frightening when their arrival awakens the Woman in Black.

Here’s the first official still from The Reach, which is set to premiere next month during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.

Michael Douglas plays a hunting enthusiast who hires Irvine’s character as a guide to trek through the desert in the two-hander. The two men don’t get along, and things take a turn for the worse when the hunter’s true nature is exposed after killing a prospector. He takes his guide hostage, mercilessly torturing him and “puts him through painful mental and physical tests in the middle of the sweltering desert.” Jean-Baptiste Leonetti directed the thriller from a script by Stephen Susco.

Jeremy is set to star in Mary Shelley’s Monster, focusing on the young woman who’d give the world the iconic novel, Frankenstein, as Mary’s husband. Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, has also joined the project, playing the lead role, Mary Shelley.

The film, written by Deborah Baxtrom, “tracks the young writer as she writes her seminal novel and is drawn into a Faustian bargain with her own ‘monster’ of an alter ego, who offers literary fame at a desperate personal cost,” according to Deadline. Turner will act alongside Jeremy Irvine (War Horse) as Mary’s husband, Percy Shelley, and Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) as Mary’s stepsister, Claire Clarmont.

Sent off to the imposing Sword & Cross reform school, Luce finds herself being courted by two young men to whom she feels oddly connected. Isolated and haunted by strange visions, Luce begins to unravel the secrets of her past and discovers the two men are fallen angels, competing for her love for centuries. Deadline has reported that Jeremy is set to star in director Roland Emmerich’s Stonewall.

Scripted by Jon Robin Baitz, the film is about the June 28, 1969 police raid at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, a mafia-owned bar that was a gathering place for gays and transgenders. It became the flashpoint for the gay rights movement, a galvanizing event that is considered a touchstone even today in the fight for equal rights for the gay and transgender population. Emmerich’s way in is to focus on a young man’s political awakening in the backdrop of those riots.
